Insight 1

Investing in technology promotes event growth – which is a top priority for event planners.

Embrace technology today for event success. Organizations that are early adopters of technology report even stronger growth than others and are more likely to report growth in almost every area of event execution.

The number of attendees has grown significantly for early adopters of technology.

More than half of Event Planners cite increased attendance as a top priority.

Takeaway

Take a cue from these tech-forward thinkers by becoming an early tech adopter and investing in technology that can help to streamline and improve every aspect of your events – including registration, check-in, and session popularity.

Insight 2

Continuing education courses and credits are an important component of attendee engagement.

Get more mileage out of your event content. Findings from this study suggest that continuing education content is more likely to be offered during a multi-day in-person event – that’s a lot of content that represents a lot of work and a lot of value.

Over half of event planners offered continuing education at their in-person event in the last year.

Webinars and live online courses represented the majority of how content was utilized after the event.

Takeaway

It’s important to make sure your CE content doesn’t end on the last day of the event. Think on-site recordings turned promotional videos, an LMS-based content library, and infographics.
